Located on 12.5 acres in the beautiful wine country of the Temecula Valley
At the Rancho Damacitas Campus are six cottages that cater to the needs of 36 children. Rancho Damacitas is designed to be the first stop for children placed in our care. Here we can observe the children and determine what their most important and demanding needs may be. Once this assessment has occurred, then we begin to structure and design a specific plan to meet each child's needs. We assess which of our three programs would offer the child the greatest opportunity for success.
Rancho Damacitas offers our most structured level of care. Here we work to provide our children a safe therapeutic environment where they can thrive. At this level, many of our children are faced with numerous challenges. They may suffer from depression, poor self esteem, poor social skills, and may be significantly behind academically. They are usually in need of learning new ways to express and cope with feelings of anger, hurt, frustration or other potential difficulties that they may be struggling with.
At Rancho Damacitas, our staff and case manager-therapists work closely with each child to develop an individual treatment plan that specifically addresses the greatest needs of that child while we work progressively towards a successful solution. Our staff are trained in specific therapeutic interventions and behavioral management techniques that are specifically geared for a child that requires structure, routine, and predictability. The goal is always to address specific treatment goals for each child in preparation for either a lower level of residential care, foster care, or successful reunification with their natural family.
